Today’s Jan 6th hearing showed how Trump and his allies zeroed in on GOP state legislators as they attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 election – and they still haven’t backed down. Here’s what we know:

Trump and his staffers directly pressured state officials to reverse the election outcome – even asking state officials to “find” thousands of votes for Trump.
Trump was explicitly warned about possible violence as a result of his Big Lie, but he continued peddling his false claims of election fraud.
Trump and Rudy Giuliani urged GOP leadership in Arizona to have the state legislature hold a hearing to remove and replace the electors for Biden in a last-ditch effort to subvert the election results!

Trump knows that this level of the ballot will be key if he wants to run again in 2024 – that’s why he’s plotting to stock state legislatures with his cronies in the midterm elections.
