Dear Friend,

We are just days away from the Unity March, the first ever, Asian
American-led March on the Mall taking place on Saturday, June 25th on the
National Mall in Washington, DC.

MomsRising is proud to be a partner for this historic event, and we’re
counting on all of our communities to come together to amplify our
collective voice at our nation’s capital this weekend.

[ [link removed] ]For this historic event, turnout is absolutely critical. A large
showing will signal to our policymakers, funders, and allies that the
Asian American movement is ready to put in the work for collective
liberation. We need every person – Asian Americans AND allies – to be
there on the National Mall on June 25. We are asking for your presence at
this event, and to help to amplify this message.

[ [link removed] ]Will you join us in Washington D.C. on Saturday June 25th at 12 p.m. ET
to build solidarity with Asian Americans and allies? RSVP NOW!

Recent attacks against Asian American women, people, and elders, as well
as the nationwide uprisings in the wake of the murder of George Floyd,
have created public outcry for solutions for community safety, for
cross-racial solidarity, and for a more inclusive democracy. MomsRising is
standing in solidarity with our families, children, neighbors, and
hundreds of partnering organizations to support Asian Americans and allies
in a national platform from which to collectivize our power and build
solidarity with other communities in the face of pervasive violence and
injustice against people of color – including LGBTQ+ individuals, people
with disabilities, and religious minorities –  in the United States.

The Unity March will help launch a greater push for socio economic goals
that get us all closer to societal equity:

* Pathway to citizenship for the more than 11 million undocumented
people in our country;
* Expand and guarantee access to voting to ensure all people regardless
of race, gender, income level, sexual orientation, ability, have full
and equal access to the ballot box;
* Hold the public and private sector accountable in the protection of
workers rights;
* Promote more diverse, authentic narratives and fight harmful
stereotypes;
* Advocate for multicultural studies in K-12 education and higher
education systems.

Together, we will rise to the challenge, joining the Unity March in
Washington D.C. -- to protect our rights, our safety, our families, and
our democracy, and to say NO to hate. We are ready to march for a more
equitable America where everyone feels safe! How about you?

[ [link removed] ]Let us know if you’re marching with us on June 25th at 12 p.m. ET! RSVP
NOW!

Please forward this invitation to your family, friends, and everyone you
know who is interested in building solidarity with Asian Americans and
allies to collectivize our power and build a more equitable future!

In solidarity,

- Gloria, Nadia, Donna, Mandy, Joy, Claudia and the whole
MomsRising/MamásConPoder team
