Thanks to all who attended the Mass Poor People's and Low-Wage Workers' Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls in person or online! We refuse to be silent while our system is killing poor and low-wealth people.

 

Continue the fight Wednesday evening at Juneteenth 2022 - A Night of Study & Celebration sponsored by DC PPC, One DC and Serve Our City.

 

Juneteenth - A Night of Study and Celebration - Commemorate Juneteenth at a community learning event Wednesday June 22 starting at 5:00 PM at the Anacostia Busboys and Poets (2004 MLK Jr Ave, SE).

  • Learn from historian C.R. Gibbs, national and international lecturer, and author/co-author. He'll speak on the history and significance of Juneteenth.
  • Celebrate with musical and spoken-word poetry performances,
 

Next DC Poor People's Campaign Monthly Meeting will be in July. We won't be meeting in June but stay tuned for details about our July meeting. We'll build on the June18th energy and make plans for the rest of 2022 and beyond.
