With the California primary now in the review mirror, it's all eyes on the big prize: flipping CA-27 red to blue and expanding Democratic majority in Congress. This year's already cruising by, that's why Christy's kicking everything into gear to win this thing and win it big.

The time to do something about gun violence was 23 years ago after Columbine. It was nearly ten years ago after Sandy Hook. It was after Pulse Night Club in Orlando, and after Las Vegas. And on it goes. In the wake of Uvalde, Buffalo, and right here in our own backyard in Laguna Woods, inaction on this issue is unthinkable. Christy joined the March For Our Lives protest earlier this month and is ready to take the protest to Congress and finally get life saving and common-sense gun legislation enacted.

We've been saying it a lot, but the path to holding our Democratic majority in Congress goes right through CA-27. Cal Matters — a leading nonprofit, nonpartisan news outlet that focuses on California issues — agrees, writing "as many as six or even seven California congressional seats could change partisan hands in November…" CA-27 is one of those seats and we need to do everything we can to make sure we flip this district.
