Hi,

My name is Isaac, and I’m an intern for the Hillary Scholten campaign. I’m here to tell you why, as a college student and West Michigan resident, you should consider giving to Hillary’s campaign.

After four years of Donald Trump, we all know what the consequences of extremist MAGA politics mean for young people and our rights. It means more school shootings. It means inaction on climate change. It means that our right to love who we were made to love is threatened.

As a gay person, I’ve watched legislatures across the country restrict LGBTQ+ rights. I’ve experienced and witnessed discrimination in our community. If we don’t make our voices heard in 2022, our right to marry who we wish could be at risk. Hillary is someone who has spent her career fighting for LGBTQ+ equality, and she won’t stop fighting for us when she goes to Washington.

As young people, we have the power to flip this seat to blue. MI-03 is one of the most competitive seats in the nation — and if people like you and I rise up and make our voice heard in November, we can send the first Democratic woman from West Michigan to Congress.

We all know what is on the line in 2022. We can change the narrative and help keep Congress blue. Today, I’m asking you to volunteer for Team Scholten. With your help, we can get out the youth vote and make history. Join me in helping Hillary turn MI-03 blue!
