Team,

It's no secret that we’re facing real concerns across the globe about rising inflation — including here in America. Now that we're making our way to the other side of this pandemic, I know that many folks are still sitting at their kitchen tables trying to figure out how to make ends meet.

Last week, I was proud to cast my vote in support of the Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act — a legislative package to lower prices for Washington families in the grocery aisle and at the gas pump. And I voted to support legislation that cut costs for families and small businesses while also boosting American exporters’ ability to efficiently deliver products to the global marketplace.

Look, it's been hard to recover from this pandemic. These last few years have been the pits. But I will keep working every day to recover our economy and combat inflation for folks.

This legislation will lower costs on fertilizer, meat, poultry, and at the pump. Join me in urging Congress to pass this crucial legislation NOW by adding your name to the petition today >> [link removed]

Team, there is still work to be done, but I will continue my work to strengthen supply chains and bring down costs for working families. The plan will help provide immediate relief for folks — and keep inflation down in the long term. I’ll keep pushing for actions to lower costs for people in our region!

Thank you for your support,

Derek
