President Biden just signed the Ocean Shipping Reform Act into law! I was proud to co-sponsor this legislation and shepherd its passage as Chair of the Senate Commerce Committee.

The Ocean Shipping Reform Act will strengthen our supply chains and protect Washington’s farmers, businesses, and consumers.

Most importantly, this legislation will help lower costs facing consumers by combating rising shipping costs and leveling the playing field between big international shipping lines and American businesses and consumers.
