I’ll be honest with you, friend. I never thought this is how it would go.

When I was growing up in the segregated South, working at a McDonald's to help my family get by, I never thought I’d have the opportunity to serve in the U.S. Senate. 

Fast-forward to today: We've built the highest-raising Senate campaign in Florida history – with over 450,000 grassroots donors!

I'm so proud of the history we've already accomplished together. You've helped me make Marco Rubio one of the most vulnerable Republican senators up for reelection – but I'm still fighting an uphill battle against national Republicans' dark money machine.

GOP super PACs are already planning more than $1.5 MILLION in attack ads to defeat me, because they know that if I flip this seat, Democrats will expand our Senate majority. We cannot afford to take our foot off the gas, friend.
