Andy is a true champion for Medicare for All — he is an original cosponsor of the Medicare for All Act, part of the Medicare for All Caucus, and he's made single-payer health care a top issue in his campaign. He’s also the only former labor organizer in Congress and has devoted his career to building power for workers.

Andy ran for Congress in 2018 because, as a two-time cancer survivor and father of two children with Crohn's disease, he couldn't stand by while private health insurance companies profited from our illnesses and bankrupted families. And in this year’s reelection campaign, Andy’s top priority will be exactly what it has been for the entire time he has been in Congress: voicing the needs of and building power for working people.

Andy Levin’s record speaks for itself. As a union organizer, he raised workers’ wages and improved benefits; he fought climate change as the founder of a green energy company; and he created the largest job-retraining program in the country as the head of a state workforce agency.
