John — Today marks just one week until Primary Election Day here in Illinois, and here at Underwood HQ, we’re running on all cylinders.

We’re running digital ads, knocking on doors, and talking with voters from across the district to make sure they know how to make their voice heard in this critical election. And on top of that, we’re working hard to build the resources we’ll need to hit the ground running on June 29th so we can defeat Lauren’s Republican opponent this November.

Now, we’re still not sure who that will be, but with five right-wing opponents on the ballot — including a 2020 election conspiracy theorist, a far-right radio talk show host, and a self-entitled Trump-Republican who recently ran a Facebook ad raffling off an AR-15 (yes, that really happened) — we’re busy preparing for every dangerous scenario.

We need to fight with all that we’ve got to keep these extremists out of power so Lauren can continue her work to make progress for the people of Illinois. But we’ve got a tough fight ahead of us, and we can’t do it without your help.
