I wanted to share some exciting news with you: we launched our first ad of the campaign!

Public schools are the bedrock of our communities. Iowa’s students, parents, and teachers deserve exceptional and safe public schools. In the legislature, I’ve advocated for our students and parents by voting to fully fund our local public schools.

My opponent, Senate President Jake Chapman, has a different vision for Iowa. His vision includes:
* Jailing teachers for teaching anything that doesn’t align with his worldview
* Defunding public schools
* Using your tax dollars to fund private school vouchers

I know Iowans agree with our values, but we need the resources to communicate our message and show voters that they have a clear choice this election.
