Ruth’s List Florida is excited to announce our latest endorsement in Fort Lauderdale– Yvette DuBose for City Commission, District 3. This is Yvette’s first campaign and, if elected, she will be the first woman ever elected to this seat and the first Black woman to be elected in the city in over 100 years.
Yvette is an experienced leader who served as a nonprofit executive and CEO for over a decade and continues to serve statewide as a board member for the Heart Gallery of Florida. She is a champion for children, advocating for legislation to improve the foster care system and working to recruit foster and adoptive parents for children in need.
