John,
I am proud and excited to announce that our campaign has been recognized for our commitment to racial, economic, health care, and environmental justice through the Pressley Policy Pledge.
Here’s what that means: it means Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley knows I stand with her in advocating for legislation that will advance equity and build a more just America.
Will you stand beside me in this commitment by making a contribution to fund this campaign so I can get in office and fight for policies that will guarantee voting rights, jobs, real justice, public transportation, and an end to student debt?
When I’m in the office of Attorney General, I’m going to use that position to fight for policies like the People’s Justice Guarantee that will offer a vision of true justice, healing and accountability.
We owe it to Massachusetts and to our country to create a just legal system and end the mass incarceration crisis. It’s past time we demonstrate the courage necessary to make it a reality.
The next Attorney General has a responsibility to pursue bold, structural reforms that shift resources away from institutions that perpetuate brutality and injustice, invest in solutions that promote community safety, and center the dignity and humanity of all people — that’s exactly what I plan to do.
I've spent my entire career fighting to protect worker’s rights and that’s earned me the title “The Worker’s Champion.” Taking the Pressley Policy Pledge shows that I’m ready to take the next step and be Massachusetts’ champion.
To get there, I need your support — can you chip right now to join the fight for a more equitable, just America, starting right here in Massachusetts?
In solidarity,
Shannon Liss-Riordan
