[ [link removed] ]Welch for Vermont
Hello,
Right now, Mitch McConnell and national Republicans see the race for
Senate in Vermont as a “sleeper” race.
And they have reason to think they can win in Vermont: while Democrats won
big in 2020, Vermont’s Republican governor won reelection by 41 points.
That’s the largest margin of victory in a Vermont governor’s race in
nearly 25 years.
There’s a lot on the line in November, and it’s important we do everything
we can to ensure we have a Congress that fights to protect our democracy,
combat climate change, lower the price of prescription drugs, and enshrine
the right to an abortion.
That means keeping the Senate blue—and ensuring Peter gets elected in
November. But Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are already planning
on spending millions to win, and it’s up to us to show them Vermont is not
for sale.

Republicans including Mitch McConnell have talked about walking back all
our hard-fought progress if they win control of the Senate. We can’t
afford to take any chances, not with so much on the line.
Winning here in Vermont is crucial to keeping control of the Senate and
delivering for folks all across the country.

in the best position before our numbers go public at the end of the month?
