DFPS Seeks Input on its Legislative Appropriation Request
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is working on its Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR) and welcomes your input. This request outlines the agency?s funding needs for fiscal years 2024 through 2025.
You can share your ideas and recommendations about what should be in the LAR by sending an email to [email protected].?The deadline for comment is Friday, July 22, 2022.
DFPS must submit its LAR to the legislature in August 2022. It will be considered by the 88th Texas Legislature in its regular session in 2023.
