Banning Ranch

John,

When you think about all the things that could've happened
with Banning Ranch-at 401 acres, it's the biggest private
open space on the whole coast of Southern California-turning it
into an oceanfront park wasn't at the top of the list.

Without the passion of the community and the expertise of Trust
for Public Land, we could be lamenting the loss of an outdoor
wonderland within an hour's drive of 8.4 million people, half of
whom live in low-income communities where parks are too few and far
between.

Instead, we're at an important moment in the decades-long,
community-driven fight to close the park equity gap in Southern
California and open Banning Ranch to all.

TPL is under contract to purchase this land and transform it into
California's newest oceanfront park. That's huge!

But John, from here it will take the
sustained, ongoing support of many donors like you to make our dreams
for Banning Ranch and other projects a reality. That's why we
urge you to accept our invitation to join TPL's Monthly Giving
Society today.

Banning Ranch still has a long way to go. We need to raise significant funding for community outreach, planning, programming, and habitat restoration to make Banning Ranch the recreational, cultural, and ecological asset it can be for the community.

It takes just 67 cents a day to make a monthly gift that will
support TPL's efforts at Banning Ranch and around the country to
purchase land and work alongside community members to transform these
open spaces into welcoming parks for all.

We're getting closer to our goal of 100 monthly donors by
June 30, but we still have a ways to go. Please accept our invitation
to join this special group of TPL supporters today.

P.S. If you aren't ready to make a monthly gift, you can
still support TPL by making a one-time gift today. Thank you for your
support and generosity.
