As Joy’s mom, it’s wonderful to watch Rhode Islanders get to know Joy and experience what we’ve seen since she was a child.
Joy has always been a leader. I remember how hard she worked to fill up her sash with badges when she was in Camp Fire and how she served her fellow students as class president in high school.
She has brought this “do for others” attitude and a genuine love of getting to know people into her work for Congressman Jim Langevin and Governor Gina Raimondo, and now as a small business owner.
Joy is not running for Congress because it is easy, but because of her lifelong commitment of service to others and the state of Rhode Island. She truly cares for our communities - her enthusiasm on the campaign trail is genuine.
Joy and her team are coming up on a major fundraising deadline at the end of the month. Today, I’m asking that you chip in and make a contribution [[link removed]] so Joy can win this primary.
