It’s pride month, and we’re spreading the word about just how impactful it can be to have the correct name and gender marker on an ID. Tiffany told us just how much she appreciated her new ID after she voted in 2022.

“I just voted right now! It was extremely easy, and made me feel like I could do something significant to help give a bit of a voice to people who have been oppressed and discriminated against. Also, I'm extremely grateful Project ID helped me get my ID with updated name and gender marker, as it saved me the dysphoria of having to say my birth name when asked by the poll worker. In addition, I've told many of my trans friends about you guys, because I had such a positive experience, otherwise I would've been stuck with an ID that wasn't in congruence with my identity into 2021 at least. Thank you"
