John,
This #GivingTuesday has me thinking about the progress we’ve made – and all of the work that remains ahead.
We’re fighting for a future where trans people not only survive, but thrive. The work is not always easy. With your help, we’re giving trans people across the country a voice.
For #GivingTuesday, we set a goal of raising $2,020 from our supporters in DC. If just 101 supporters donate $20 today, we'll hit our goal. Chip in right now to help us do it.
Half the nation lives without workplace protections from gender identity discrimination. Until this protection is secure in every town, state, and across the country, we’ll fight.
School should help students be their brightest, truest selves. Until every student is welcomed and feels safe, we’ll work to put anti-discrimination and anti-bullying laws and policies in place that explicitly include gender identity and expression.
Trans people continue to experience barriers to quality health care, and in the richest economy in the world that is simply not acceptable. Health care is a human right and we won’t stop until trans people have access to that right.
We fight for policy changes that protect trans employees, trans students, trans families, all trans people.
We need you to help us do it. Donate $20 or any amount you can afford right now to honor this work and make a difference. To make an even bigger difference in the year ahead, consider checking the "make this a monthly gift" box.
When policies are failing, we show up. Will you show up with us today?
In Solidarity,
Mara Keisling Executive Director National Center for Transgender Equality
