Stop the Left from Infiltrating our Schools

Dear John,

Great news! In honor of #GivingTuesday, every gift Family Research Council receives today will have double the impact thanks to a $100,000 challenge match.

As you know, #GivingTuesday started years ago as a movement to create an international day of giving back to nonprofit causes as we enter the Christmas season.

Now, thanks to generous friends, your gift to FRC will be automatically increased 100%: $50 will become $100; $100 will be multiplied to $200; and $500 will have the impact of $1,000.

Your tax-deductible investment will help FRC at this critical time to defend our shared values and uphold religious liberty in the halls of Congress, the national media, and across America.

DOUBLE MY GIFT TODAY

The attacks FRC faces right now are very real, including the hearing held by a powerful committee in the U.S. House calling for FRC and other organizations to lose our tax-exempt status.

Egged on by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), liberal leaders in Congress could not resist holding this ludicrous hearing on "How the Tax Code Subsidizes Hate."

In one tweet summarizing the event, the House Ways and Means Committee cited one conservative group speaking out on behalf of natural marriage and then stated: "These remarks are vile..."

I must be frank. What's truly vile is the fact that leftist groups are going on the offense against our children, to subvert parental rights and biblical values--with the SPLC covertly directing these efforts.

That's right: the SPLC and their allies are not simply colluding to silence biblical views on marriage and sexuality, as the congressional hearing was intended to do. They have much bigger plans.

In partnership with Planned Parenthood and the ACLU, this leftist coalition has been lobbying state after state to infiltrate schools through radically progressive education resources on sexuality and gender.

Having given the "birds and bees" talk to my sons, let me tell you: this proposed sex-ed curriculum covers ground I never did... or ever would, because it is immoral.

DOUBLE MY IMPACT TO PROTECT CHILDREN

FRC has previously featured Rebecca Friedrichs, a 28-year veteran of California public schools, on our radio show. She now leads efforts to push back against the LGBTQ-backed curriculum changes, even finding surprising allies among some local educators.

"Many district administrators would like to be fully transparent about what they're being told to teach kids," Friedrichs said in a recent interview.

"They'd say: Hey, parents, come on out. We're going to show you all the content in this curriculum: every video, the 19 sexual protections like condoms for anal sex and dental dams for oral sex. How do you feel about this, parents? Do you want to opt-in?"

She concluded: "I've never met one parent who wants to opt-in, once they know what's in the curricula."

FRC has been working closely with Friedrichs, church leaders like Pastor Jack Hibbs, and concerned local parents to push back against these SPLC-led efforts.

But make no mistake: their misnamed "Teaching Tolerance" campaign is not limited to California. The SPLC is working to infiltrate school districts across the nation.

Will you help FRC stand up to these insidious attacks?

Then please, take advantage of the #GivingTuesday $100,000 challenge match to ensure FRC can continue our work of educating and empowering parents and concerned citizens.

Your gift will help us utilize every available tool to stand up for faith, family, and your freedoms -- here in Washington and across the country. Thank you!
