In December 2021, we shared our vision to build the future of science ([link removed] ) by advancing research and developing technologies to observe, measure, and analyze any biological process within the human body — across spatial scales and in real time.
Imaging RFAs
Advancing Imaging Through Collaborative Projects and Dynamic Imaging RFA ([link removed] )
- To make progress toward this vision, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) is seeking applications for a Dynamic Imaging RFA ([link removed] ) that aims to advance technology directed at real-time visualization of biological processes at the level of cells and molecules, along with an Advancing Imaging Through Collaborative Projects RFA ([link removed] ) that seeks to accelerate the dissemination and adoption of imaging technologies, methods, platforms, or training resources.
Single-Cell Biology RFA
Single-Cell Biology Data Insights Cycle 2 RFA ([link removed] )
- In addition, given the growth of single-cell biology and the rapid increase in available data, the new Data Insights Cycle 2 RFA ([link removed] ) will support projects to advance the fields of single-cell biology and data science. CZI seeks applications for projects that aim to use and gain insights into health and disease from existing single-cell datasets to help accelerate progress toward challenges associated with the compilation and exploration of large atlas-scale data. We encourage applications in rapidly expanding areas such as:
- Projects that aim to develop scalable and robust tools and methods for data analysis problems in spatial transcriptomic;
- Projects that use meta-analysis and data integration to study questions such as the heterogeneity of healthy tissues and changes in tissues during disease states; and
- Projects that aim to increase the robustness and performance of tools of broad interest and will enable new domains of utility for single-cell data.
