John, this is Susan Wild from Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional district. It is my great honor to represent Lehigh, Northampton, and Monroe Counties in the House of Representatives.
In a moment, I’m going to ask you to contribute to our crucial campaigns, but first, I’d love to tell you more about myself. In 2018 I flipped a seat from red to blue, becoming the first woman elected to represent this district. In 2020, I narrowly won against a self-funding Trumpian candidate in one of the closest House races in the country. And now, thanks to redistricting, I’m running for re-election in an even tougher district that experts are calling a total TOSS-UP.
Pennsylvania is a critical swing state, and we know that both of our races will be two of the closest in the nation. But it’s not just Pennsylvania on the line — Democrats MUST win here if we’re going to hold the House and expand our Senate majority. Which is why I’m so proud to be supporting and sharing the ballot with my friend John Fetterman, who has a strong track record as an advocate for Pennsylvanians.
In the House, we’ve passed life-changing bill after bill — from lowering prescription drug prices to raising the minimum wage to protecting a woman’s right to choose — but all of that progress has been stalled in the Senate. With so much at stake, we have to hold the House and expand our tie-breaking majority in the Senate.
I am proud to work every day for families and workers here in the greater Lehigh Valley and across the state and nation on the issues that matter most, like health care, infrastructure, and workforce development. And I know John shares my passion for advocacy and making sure working families can get ahead.
