Once again, the U.N. is blatantly discriminating against our ally Israel.
The latest attack occurred last year when the U.N. Human Rights Council (UNHRC) established an unprecedented, open-ended Commission of Inquiry (COI) to permanently target the Jewish state.
In response, Reps. Greg Steube (R-FL), Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX), Joe Wilson (R-SC) and Sens. Tim Scott (R-SC) and Jacky Rosen (D-NV) introduced the bipartisan COI Elimination Act to:
Formally establish U.S. policy to seek the end of the COI and combat the systematic anti-Israel bias and the UNHRC.
Restrict American taxpayer dollars from funding the UNHRC's new anti-Israel Commission.
Reduces U.S. funding to the U.N. by roughly $1 million—the U.S. share of the COI’s budget.
Please urge Congress to support this important bipartisan legislation today.
