Why do Republican donors get involved in Democratic primaries? Because they know our race isn’t about Republican vs Democrat, it’s about the upper class versus the working class.
Look at these two examples within a state legislature and the federal government. First, Downballot endorsed candidate Illapa Sairitupac calls out his Democratic opponent for taking money from a donor who gave Donald Trump $125,000 last cycle.

And now a Democratic Super-PAC that is getting involved in primaries is taking money from conservative billionaires.

If we elect the folks benefitting from these donations, we’ll have conservative Democrats throughout our government representing some of the most progressive districts in the country. This is why it’s worth fighting in blue states as much as it’s worth fighting in red states. If we don’t do so, then blue states won’t take on the crucial role of leading our country and demonstrating what progressive policymaking can do.
