We're constantly bombarded with national politics and news from Washington. But have you heard what's been going on in Lansing recently?

At a Hillsdale College Republicans meeting just two weeks ago, Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey described legislative Democrats and Governor Gretchen Whitmer as "on the batsh*t crazy spectrum."

Democrats won all statewide executive offices and flipped six state house districts and five state senate districts in 2018. But the legislature is still controlled by Republican leaders that operate with the same incivility as we hear out of the White House every day.

But in 2020, we can change that.
