We know that it must be depressing and angering all that is going on.

But even this Angry Chinese Guy has optimism for what we can control and do to overcome the onslaught of attacks and fear mongering coming from the Right. PowerPAC would not exist if we didn’t have optimism.

I have lived through the tail end of the Civil Rights Movement, through the Reagan years, and even President #45.

But one thing that this long view has taught me is that change is slow but as Dr. King put it “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice."

Our work in Wisconsin gives us hope as we won the election of the first Black Mayor in Milwaukee’s history earlier in April. We have also seen a rise in progressive candidates of color at all levels of government including Secretaries of State, state representatives, and even in law enforcement.

Many organizations we collaborate and ally with are moving mountains to take back control of our bodies, our health and safety, and our democracy. We ask that you continue to read our content, join the movement to reclaim our democracy, and support your candidates and organizations of choice.

We believe in you and we believe in the voters of this country.
