Thank you to everyone who supported our Giving Day as part of our EOFY appeal - we were overwhelmed and humbled by the generosity of our community on the day. Whilst we hit our target for Giving Day, we still have $100,000 to raise before the end of June to help every child that needs us.

I know we have asked a lot of you this year - this is simply down to more families who never thought they’d have to ask for help, turning to us for support as the dust settles after the Pandemic.  We hear first hand from social workers that not only do more families need our help, but their needs have become more complex in the last year, forcing many families to make impossible choices such as choosing between paying bills or providing a child with essentials like clothing and a warm place to sleep. 

One of our partners, a Homelessness and Support Program Manager told us:

Needs have changed since the Pandemic began. The rate of homelessness has increased and housing affordability is a massive issue. Families, especially on low incomes, are needing to make decisions between paying rent and other essential services, ie: electricity and gas bills.

Please help us bring some warmth and love to babies and children living in vulnerable situations in our community.  By donating now to our EOFY Give Share Care appeal you can help a child in need and your donation is tax deductible.

It’s an incredibly cold winter and the increasing costs of fuel, food and energy are heavily impacting families already doing it tough. Your end of year tax deductible donation will help relieve their stress and make a huge difference to the lives of babies and children who need our support.
