John, here's the unfortunate reality:

Early voting turnout in the Illinois primaries is down significantly from the same point in 2018 and 2020.

There's no doubt that many would-be voters right now are experiencing a sense of burnout and exhaustion. They see so many bold progressive priorities stalled in Congress due to the influence of corporate money. At the same time, they see an alarming rise of anti-choice and anti-LGBTQ+ policies that Republicans seem poised to enact should they regain power.
