** Hi John,
------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for joining the Creative Commons community. We look forward to keeping you up to date with the latest in the Open Movement.

Creative Commons started with a simple, radical idea: to create a world where everyone has access to knowledge and creativity.

Since then, we’ve powered a global movement spanning 86 countries, developing and stewarding legal tools and licenses, and increasing access to valuable information, historic images, scientific articles, educational resources and cultural artifacts.

This year, we're celebrating our 20th Anniversary with an ambitious goal to raise $15 million in two years in order to put the tools to share and reshare content in the hands of everyone, everywhere.

We know that greater access to information means a stronger global community, more innovation, and increased capacity to solve key challenges the world faces today.

We're excited you're here.
