Department taking input on a proposed changes from the Wyoming Wildlife Taskforce?
CHEYENNE ? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is asking for input on a recommendation to change how preference points work in moose and bighorn sheep license draws. The proposal? researched and drafted by the Wyoming Wildlife Taskforce ? suggests Game and Fish change from a preference point draw to a weighted bonus points draw. The proposed changes would impact the way Wyoming moose and bighorn sheep licenses are issued for residents and nonresidents.
CHEYENNE ? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has opened a comment period and will be holding public meetings to gather input on the following regulations:
- Chapter 28, Big or trophy game animal or game bird or gray wolf damage claims
- Chapter 34, Depredation prevention hunting seasons
- Chapter 35, Hunting permit regulations for persons with disabilities
- Chapter 62, Regulation for aquatic invasive species
The following meetings will address the regulation proposals.
