Happy Juneteenth to everyone! Today, I am grateful that as a country we can recognize the freedom that so many fought for through centuries of oppression and slavery.

On this great day of celebration and remembrance, let us come together to remember how far we have come in the pursuit of a more perfect nation. We must never halt in our fight for equality and we can never rest in our journey to become a country that values its people solely on the content of their character.

She has spent the last 28 years raising a family and providing health care as a nurse anesthetist to Minnesota’s senior citizens, workers, Black, brown and Indigenous people, women and children. Jeanne is passionate about the issues Minnesotans care about most, health care for all, realistic climate change solutions, creating jobs by partnering with Labor Unions and local small businesses, reforming policing while dismantling systemic inequities and most importantly defending our Democracy.
