Last week, a notorious criminal murdered two police officers in El Monte (Los Angeles County) after he was given probation instead of a jail term in 2020 over an illegal gun charge. Because LA County DA George Gascon has a policy of not prosecuting three-strikes cases, Justin William Flores was on parole at the time of the killings due to a plea deal whereby he received two years probation and 20 days in jail.
But wait – wasn’t Flores prohibited from owning a gun – and isn’t murder against the law? Since when does a criminal pay attention to the reckless policies of our elected Leftist “do-gooders?”
Meanwhile, according to the LA County Sheriff, homicides in the county have increased about 94% and grand theft auto increased 59% in the past two years. These are frightening statistics for Los Angeles residents.
