Tomorrow evening, our celebration of Pride Month continues with my second Showtunes with Steny at Bobby McKey's in National Harbor! I am so glad to be welcoming my friend and colleague in the House, Congressman Ritchie Torres from New York's 15th Congressional District as our special guest. I hope to see you there tomorrow, June 21st, at 7:00 p.m. for memorable music and drag show performances!
This year’s special guest, Congressman Torres, became the first openly gay Afro-Latino in Congress after being elected in 2020. He is a champion for LGBTQ+ equality at home in New York and in Washington DC, and serves as one of the co-chairs of the Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus.
This event is a great opportunity for us to celebrate Pride Month in Prince George's County. I look forward to seeing you there!
