This is dangerous, friend.

Eric Greitens -- the leading Republican candidate for Missouri Senate -- just released a campaign video raising money by encouraging his followers to kill moderate Republicans.

That sounds crazy, but it's true. Supporters can make a $25 donation to purchase a "RINO hunting permit." If you don't know, RINO is an abbreviation for "Republicans in Name Only."

It literally portrays him alongside armed men conducting a combat breach of a suburban house. The obvious implication is that "real Republicans" should buy AR-15's and camouflage and "play soldier" while killing their political rivals. As a veteran, calling for political violence in America while dressed up as US servicemen is abhorrent. That is NOT the US military's mission. We prevent that madness.

Not a single Republican running for reelection has condemned the ad. (I'm not surprised that Doug hasn't, but I'm disappointed that others haven't stepped up.) To be clear: this is not "politics as normal", this is a call for murdering Republican moderates.

The good news is there’s a strong Democrat in Missouri running against him: Lucas Kunce. He’s a 13-year Marine vet and the polling shows that he’s within striking distance of flipping this seat. He's more progressive than I am, but he clearly loves America, he's a man of principle, and I think he would make a great Senator.

Today, I’m asking you to join me in making sure Eric Greitens gets crushed by splitting a donation to the Lucas Kunce campaign today.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be split instantly to Max Steiner for Congress and Lucas Kunce for MO Senate:

Also, forward this to your moderate Republican friends. No one is safe from this new, violence-worshiping, GOP. The quote "first they came for the..." has new relevance to everyone today not on the far-right.

Thanks for all your help,

Max
