We fund voter protection

Hi John,

My name is Kimberley Allen and I am proud to be part of Power the Vote.

We’ve got a lot of work to do this year, but before we get too far into things, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

In 2020, I took a leave of absence from my law firm job to work full time with the voter protection team at the Democratic Party of Georgia, where I led the ballot monitoring program. I organized almost a thousand volunteers, working to make sure ballots were counted in all 159 Georgia counties.

In Georgia, we developed a groundbreaking voter protection strategy, which was instrumental in securing wins for President Joe Biden and Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.

Now, I’ve left my law job to launch Power the Vote so that we can take the innovative work we did in Georgia and expand it to other battleground states.

John, this mission to protect voting rights in key battleground states is important to me — and I’m ready to fight this year.

Today, I’m humbly asking for your support. Please, chip in a contribution of any amount to Power the Vote today. Our work will only be possible with the grassroots contributions of supporters like you — and the stakes are too high for us to miss.

Can I count on your donation today?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I look forward to working with you this year.

Warmly,

Kimberley Allen

We Fund Voter Protection

In 2020, we ran the Democratic Party’s Voter Protection Program in Georgia, when the state flipped blue for the first time in nearly 30 years.

We pioneered a new model of voter protection, built on sustained investments and long-lasting relationships.

Now, we’re building on that success and adapting the Georgia model to fight voter suppression in other states.
