It's Giving Tuesday today and we're still $2,200 (or approximately 90 donations) away from reaching our fundraising goal. We're not a 501c3, so I can't offer you a quick link through Facebook or a tax deduction for your gift. But I can offer you this:

• 45,000+ young people who've raised their hands to say they want to run for office
• 298 elected officials (54% women, 47% people of color) who wouldn't be in office without your support
• Alumni who've made direct meaningful change, like getting nearly 400,000 Virginians access to health care and ensuring that millions of New Yorkers can vote early and breathe cleaner air
• The knowledge that your donation today helps recruit and support local candidates in 2020 -- which increases turnout for a Democratic presidential candidate -- and helps win permanent power for our party for the future, in the form of winning local office, especially state legislatures, which redraw the maps in 2021 and can expand voting rights. You know, amongst other things.
