You may have heard the distressing news that operatives of the Democratic party challenged the signatures filed by the Green Party for its candidates for governor, Howie Hawkins, and lieutenant governor, Gloria Mattera. It’s clear the Democrats are threatened by the fact that the Green agenda has popular support and they will do everything they can to try to prevent our voices from being heard. They will not succeed.



We are determined to build the Green Party of New York so that it is stronger than ever. Part of that is electing representatives to serve on the GPNY state committee (SC), the party’s governing body.



Between June 17 and August 26, enrolled Greens are invited to collect signatures from other enrolled Greens in your county. This is a great opportunity to connect with other Greens and talk about your concerns and hopes for the future. If your county is not yet affiliated with GPNY, or is part a multi-county organization whose affiliation is ending, we will be holding a County Affiliation Tutorial on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 7-8 pm to go through the process of obtaining affiliation with GPNY.
