John: For millions of refugee children, harrowing journeys to escape conflict and persecution endanger their lives and futures. 12-year-old Provy* is one of these children – and in honor of World Refugee Day, we’re sharing her story with you today.
Provy fled horrific violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo at just 2 years old with her mother. Now, she’s growing up surrounded by hardship in the Kyangwali refugee settlement in Uganda. The tragic reality is that millions of other children share similar stories with Provy and are in urgent need of lifesaving support.
