Good morning,
This week, Texas Scorecard is exposing the Texas education machine.
Here is the Texas Minute for Monday, June 20, 2022.
– Brandon Waltens
Do you know what’s really happening in Texas schools?
Today, Texas Scorecard is releasing the second season of the hit show, Exposed, where we do a deep dive on stories the cronies and establishment players don’t want told.
In this season, Jacob Asmussen takes a look behind the curtain at the current state education machine—and why all the decades of campaign promises, programs, buildings, and money have failed to fix things for our kids.
Despite the decades of politicians’ promises, attempted reforms, new programs, outlandish buildings, more bureaucracy, and untold billions and billions of dollars, the current education machine isn’t producing better results for our kids—in fact, the situation is only getting worse.
What’s going on? What can events from the past warn us about our alarming situation in Texas today? What can parents do right now to finally achieve an efficient, flourishing education environment for our teachers and children?
This season will shine a light on issues like corruption in school administrations, explicit material in the classroom, and parents that are fighting back.
