Hey John, it’s Aly, Colin’s wife!

I wanted to reach out to you today because Father’s Day is a special holiday for Colin and our whole family. The most important job to Colin is being a father to our two young kids, and he works every day in Congress to make sure our sons and kids across North Texas have the tools they need to chase their version of the American dream.

I’m so proud that Colin is leading the charge on expanding paid family leave, making child care affordable, and giving every 3 and 4-year-old access to free pre-k. Will you help me thank Colin for all he does by signing his Father’s Day card?

Colin is working to make sure our district, state, country, and world are better places for every kid. He’s not only teaching our sons the value of serving your community, but showing them in his day-to-day work.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Father’s Day, but I also want to recognize those who have lost their fathers or are celebrating other father figures who have shaped them into who they are. Colin was raised by a single mother and knows how difficult today can be.

So if today is a difficult day for you, just know that we are sending our best wishes to you as well.
