Watching them grow and become more of themselves each day challenges me to fight for the world I want them to grow up in. But, they can’t sit still.

Happy Father’s day! I’m so lucky to be a dad, especially on days like today.

I could show you all of the perfect family photos with no stray hairs, all eyes open, and no tears. But I'd rather show you the real behind-the-scenes.

My children inspire me daily. Watching them grow and become more of themselves each day challenges me to fight for the world I want them to grow up in. But, they can’t sit still.

On the campaign trail, so much goes on in the day-to-day that things can naturally fall through the cracks. But at the end of a long day, getting a snack with the kids or sharing the latest news with Caroline keeps me focused on the mission.

Also, Adeline would be upset if I didn’t mention her other sibling, Fireball. 

So this Father’s Day, I want to quickly thank you for your support. I hope you have a great Father’s Day today; however you celebrate!
