Father’s Day can be a very difficult time for many of us and my heart goes out to anyone who might be struggling today.

I wanted to stop by and wish all who celebrate, a Happy Father’s Day.
One of the greatest privileges in my life is being a father to my children. Watching them grow into the confident, curious, and encouraging people they are today has only reaffirmed my belief that our children are our future — and they have the potential to change the world.
My relationship with my children is one of the reasons why I fight so hard in Congress day in and day out. Because I know that I have the opportunity to build a brighter future, not just for them, but for everyone in our communities.
And most importantly, I know that the future that we all want will only come true if we all come together and call for major changes in our politics and our democracy.
So today, and every day, I urge us all to appreciate and celebrate those who inspire us to work for our values, and demand change for the better.
