I’m following up on this Father’s Day message from Brian to thank everyone who took the time to sign his card! It’s just been delivered, and Brian really appreciated seeing the names of top supporters coming together to put on this nice gesture. We were just reminiscing about Brian’s time at Walter Reed hospital after Brian was blown up. His appendages were stitched to his body, and he couldn’t even lift himself to sit up straight. He’s come so far since then—from learning to walk again to graduating from Harvard to raising our four beautiful children. I couldn’t do it without him! He has so much on his plate every day, especially with the fallout from the Afghanistan withdrawal and with the election coming up so soon. So, to say thank you to him, I was hoping you would help me erase his campaign’s current fundraising deficit. To do that, we need to raise $5,340 before midnight. Can I count on you to help with a contribution of just $5, $10, $50, or any amount you can afford? Brian is so selfless that I want to do everything I can to support him! CONTRIBUTE HERE TO HELP BRIAN’S RE-ELECTION Thank you in advance! Happy Father’s Day, Brianna Mast ---------Forwarded Message------- From: Brian Mast Date: Sun, Jun. 19, 2022 at 9:00 AM Subject: Father's Day I want to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads out there being positive role models for future generations. For me, fatherhood has truly been one of life’s greatest gifts. Raising my four children has been a blessing, and embarking on this journey of parenthood with my wife Brianna has been rewarding beyond words. To every father out there, thank you for all that you do - I hope you get to celebrate with family on this special occasion! Every Father’s Day, I thank God that I was able to survive the injuries I suffered in Afghanistan - a near-fatal event that occurred when my son was just 6 months old. I’ve been able to watch him and my 3 other munchkins grow up, and I’m blessed beyond words that my life was spared in order to make that possible. So once again, Happy Father’s Day - I hope you find it as rewarding as I do and that you’re able to appreciate the blessings of family. Warm regards, SSG Brian Mast, U.S. Army (ret.)
