Thank you so much! To see the outpouring of support for FAMM this Father’s Day has touched me. I am married to Terrance Stanton, who sent you two emails over the past weekend. He went inside in 2012, and his release date is 2039. We face 17 more Father’s Days of separation. FAMM shines a light on how these excessive and unjust punishments affect innocent family members.
A just sentence for powder and crack cocaine offenses will reunite families like ours. FAMM works tirelessly to pass the EQUAL Act and change sentencing to 1:1! If Terrance were home for Father’s Day, my life would instantly change for the better. I would finally be reunited with the love of my life, and seeing the looks on my kids’ faces would mean the world to me.
My wish this Father’s Day and every day is to see my husband home. This is so close to happening with the passage of the EQUAL Act!
