When our dad launched his campaign for governor over a year ago, it was hard to know what to expect and how our lives would change. Our dad has always been our hero, but this campaign has shown us that he serves as an inspiration for so many Marylanders who want a better future for themselves and their families. We couldn’t be more proud that he’s running to be our next governor.

Out of all the things our dad has taught us, one thing that really stands out is how he always perseveres when the going gets tough. Despite the many challenges he’s faced throughout his life, our dad has never wavered in his passion and commitment to promoting equity and fighting for every kid in every school to have a chance to succeed.

And through it all, he has always been there for us as the best dad we could ever ask for. From coaching our little league softball team, to clapping the loudest at our school plays and track meets, to never missing an opportunity to deliver a corny dad joke, Dad has always been there. He has worked so hard to give us every opportunity to thrive and succeed, and we have no doubt that as governor he will do the same for every Marylander.
