Friend –

Growing up, I spent a lot of time outdoors. 

My mother's cardinal rule with my siblings and me was that children should be outside as much as possible. And boy, did we stay busy…

Every summer, we would visit our grandparents at the beach, swimming in all types of weather. And every winter we would skate on the pond by our house.

My grandpa taught me how to fish, and I learned to take care of and ride horses at summer camp in Londonderry.

Sometimes when my mom wanted us out of the house, my dad would take my siblings and me hiking in the woods, giving us marching orders as if he were drilling soldiers in the army.

From learning to work out my differences with others on the pond ice to answering my dad's prodding questions about what I'm doing for democracy, I look back on my childhood fondly – it was these lessons that led me to a career in public service.

I now have the privilege of serving New Hampshire in the United States Senate, where I’m committed to putting party differences aside to deliver on the issues that matter most to Granite Staters.

I’m fighting to protect safe and legal reproductive health care. And I’m working tooth and nail to lower costs for Granite State families.

But I can't do it alone. My last race was the closest in the country, so I'm one of Mitch McConnell's top targets this election cycle. Extreme GOP groups are spending millions of dollars to flip this seat, and a public poll shows me down by two points. 

With so much at stake, we can't afford to lose this seat to a far-right Republican. 

That's why I'm reaching out to ask: Please donate $3 or whatever you can to my campaign so that Democrats can hold control of the Senate and so that I can continue fighting for families like yours. In a race this competitive, any amount is greatly appreciated.
