E-PAC GOP Woman Mayra Flores FLIPS First House Seat of 2022

This week, E-PAC endorsed Mayra Flores won the TX-34 Special Election outright and made HISTORY as the first Mexican-born Congresswoman ever elected, turning the seat red for the first time in 100 years. On Mayra’s victory, Elise said:

Stefanik Endorsed Candidates Win BIG

In addition to Mayra's win, On Tuesday, Elise-endorsed candidates Bruce Poliquin (ME-02), and April Becker (NV-03) won their primary elections and are headed to the general election to FLIP these two seats red. The Red Tsunami is already underway as Elise and GOP candidates work to take back the House and fire Nancy Pelosi once and for all!

“Congratulations to my friend Bruce Poliquin on his primary victory in ME-02. I was proud to endorse Bruce, who has a strong track record of delivering results for Maine families. The House Republican majority runs through districts like ME-02, and I look forward to working hard to help Bruce flip this critical seat back to red in November.”

Elise Stands Up for Farmers
On Tuesday, Elise joined Republicans in sending a letter to Joe Biden calling on his administration to change course on policies that have harmed our farmers and caused increased food prices for all Americans. The letter reads:

“In short, your Administration’s federal regulatory barriers and policies are undermining America’s ability to meet the food and fiber needs of the globe by creating uncertainty for U.S. farmers and ranchers. We cannot afford to continue without a comprehensive plan to reverse course on this destructive agenda and address this crisis. We request that you immediately meet with Congressional Members to develop a plan that restores domestic production and allows American farmers to lower food prices at home and provide critical humanitarian aid abroad”

This week, Elise continued to press the Biden Administration to stop passing the buck and finally solve the devastating baby formula crisis that they created. Elise sounded the alarm back in February on this issue, and now in June, shelves across America are still empty as Americans struggle to feed their babies.


In the Op-Ed, Elise highlighted the Babies Need Formula Now Act, legislation that she brought to the House floor with fellow GOP moms Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Ashley Hinson, and Stephanie Bice, which would address this crisis and help put formula back on shelves immediately. She wrote:

“Families deserve certainty, and no family in the greatest country in the world should have to scrounge for essential products for their babies. There’s no more time to waste. Pelosi must bring this legislation to the House floor, and Congress should pass it. Buck-passing time is long over. We need baby formula on shelves immediately.”

Elise Introduces Bill to Solve Biden’s Supply Chain Crisis
On Monday, Elise voted in support of The Ocean Shipping Reform Act (S. 3580) a bill she cosponsored that would help solve the supply chain crisis. This bill would help American exporters, including dairy farmers, when dealing with port congestion and ocean exports. On this bill, Elise stated:

“I am proud to advance legislation to address this supply chain crisis and support producers, especially dairy farmers in Upstate New York and the North Country. This bill will help lessen the United States’ trade imbalance with China by reducing challenges at ports to ease significant supply chain disruptions and help American producers export their products. As Joe Biden’s failed policies create crisis after crisis for Americans, I will continue to push for solutions to address these challenges and create a more efficient supply chain.”

In an Op-Ed released on Tuesday, Elise layed out the need for geospatial support to Ukraine in their fight against Russia. In the Op-Ed, Elise wrote:

Protecting human rights and preventing war crimes has been foundational to the United States’ foreign policy, and our government agencies already maintain offices to prevent mass atrocities and genocide. However, there is more to do to strengthen these offices’ ability to execute their missions. The State Department’s Atrocity Warning Task Force (AW-TF), in particular, can benefit from the fusion and analysis of geospatial intelligence from the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. This should not be difficult to deliver. We must build upon the efforts provided by the Elie Wiesel Genocide and Atrocities Prevention Act of 2018, break down the silos of intelligence across the government, and enable the Secretary of State to receive and provide the AW-TF with
the latest geospatial intelligence that may provide evidence of war crimes and mass graves.
