Team,
Running a winning campaign takes a LOT of work and requires us to rethink our strategy as the world around us changes. Today, the key to winning elections is a robust digital strategy. Even the very best candidates don’t have a chance in hell without running an effective digital campaign- and I’ll tell you why below:
- It allows you to reach people on the platforms they use most: think about it- what do you spend more time doing: watching cable tv, reading print news, or on your phone? If you are anything like most Americans, you spend the majority of your time- and get the majority of your news- from your phone.
- Helps you reach the largest mass of people: baby boomers, Gen X and millennials, and Gen Z ALL have social media accounts on multiple platforms and spend a great deal of time scrolling through news feeds. Posting ads on digital platforms allows us to reach so many more voters than canvassing or sending mail ever could.
- You get the most bang for your buck: having campaign staffers go door to door, and producing and distributing physical campaign materials is extremely expensive and time-consuming, which vastly reduces the number of people we can reach. Correctly utilizing digital allows us to reach exponentially more people for the same cost- and is environmentally friendly.
We can’t beat Derrick Van Orden without the resources to run a comprehensive digital campaign. Chipping in $5 today goes a long way in helping us reach more voters so we can tell them why Capital Insurrectionist Derrick Van Orden is the WRONG person to represent Wisconsin’s 3rd District in Congress.
