Amid a national surge in violent crime, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers
announced last week that he has granted an additional 56 pardons of
convicted criminals, bringing his total in office to 554. With these
pardons, Gov. Evers extends his record of having the most pardons
granted during his first three years in office of any governor in modern
history.
Gov. Sununu blames Democrats in Washington for 'doing absolutely
nothing' to tackle inflation
New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu called out his state's Congressional
delegation this week over their inaction to address the rampant
inflation currently burdening Americans. Gov. Sununu: "Inflation is the
worst tax on the poor that bad management can bring and that's exactly
what the Democrats in Washington have done."
Joe Biden Discovers the Value of Domestic Energy Production Too Late
In an opinion piece, Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy slammed President
Biden's belated acknowledgment that domestic energy production is
imperative to address the current energy crisis and soaring gas prices.
Gov. Dunleavy: With his presidency in peril and his approval ratings
lower than Donald Trump's, President Joe Biden has belatedly discovered
the value of domestic energy production.

Gov. Mike DeWine signs bill allowing armed teachers in schools
As the nation focuses on improving school safety, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine
this week signed into law a bill allowing teachers and staff to carry
firearms on school property. Gov. DeWine: "Our goal continues to be help
our schools, public schools, parochial schools, private schools, to have
the tools they need to help protect our children."
