This week, Trump-supporting county commissioners in New Mexico had to be
threatened with felony charges and removal from office to do the routine
job of certifying an election.

New Mexico's Democratic Secretary of State led the fight to stop them from
disenfranchising thousands of voters.

This highlights the nightmare scenario: In 2024, instead of Democratic
Secretaries of State fighting for our democracy, Trump cronies use the
power of these offices against our democracy. What then?
